The former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada finally gives his reaction towards the President-Elect Duterte's wolf whistling. The reelected Manila City Mayor shares his opinion about the issue last Sunday.
It can be remembered that the incoming president did the act towards a female reporter in one of his nationally-televised press conferences. In a report made by Radyo Inquirer, Estrada claims that Duterte may have only wanted to make the people laugh.
"There's a saying, a day without laughter is a day wasted. He wants people to laugh so their day won't be wasted," Estrada added. He also stated that the public should just wait if the President-elect will fullfill his promises of change once he assumes the office on June 30.
When asked to respond about the observation that both he and Duterte deliver strong statements, the Manila City Mayor says that their only similarity is they are both elected mayors.
