Have you ever applied for a job, only to find out that it’s extremely far from your place or residence? Apart from that, there’s the issue of traffic to deal with. The job is supposedly ideal for you — you fit the qualifications and the pay is up to your standard.
However, there’s just one hindrance—-your travel time and how much it would cost you overall.
Due to this, lots of people are now opting for ‘work from home’ jobs or positions that would entail them to only report online, in the comforts of their own houses.
A report by ABS-CBN News revealed that such kinds of jobs are now in-demand everywhere. They featured a young, Amber who works at home and is able to earn in US dollars.
“I get paid for hours po,” she said in the interview. “Tapos ‘yung isa kong boss, pini-pay niya ako weekly, tapos ‘yung isa by month.”
She is a social media manager and marketer, which only requires her to have a stable internet connection. It does not require her to leave the house, which allows her to take care of her young son.
“Nag-ra-range ako ng 20 to 22 thousand (pesos) a month, so for me, medyo okay na ‘yun eh,” she stated.
Work-from-home jobs include being a virtual assistant, a transcriptionist, a survey taker, a website tester, a corporate English trainer, a search engine evaluator, a customer service representative, an online teacher, and a virtual tutor, among others.
