A housing complex in Qatar reportedly caught fire on Friday, March 3, 2017.
According to sources, the housing complex was a facility named the UCC Labor Camp. It was a facility meant for workers in the service industry (cleaners, etc.).
The building reportedly caught fire on Friday morning. It wasn't until 7:00 pm that night that the firefighters were able to declare that the fire was out.
According to reports, the housing facility served as a home away from home for about 300 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) based in Qatar.
Luckily, reports say that no one was fatally harmed because of the incident. However, one Filipino worker was wounded.
Authorities are now busy looking for a place that will accommodate those who lost their belongings and shelter in the fire.
