Last Sunday, ABS-CBN’s 3rd season of The Voice Teens Philippines premiered to a nationwide audience.
The Voice is a reality television competition where teens are chosen by a select panel of coaches to see if they have what it takes to become the next singing sensation.
The show's coaches are composed of Pinoy singing legends such as Lea Salonga, Bamboo Mañalac, Sarah Geronimo and Sharon Cuneta.
The search for the new ‘voice’ may have just begun, but there’s already some serious competition in this season of the hit singing competition.
Isabela Vinzon went on stage last Sunday and wowed audiences and judges with her amazing performance.
She sang Feeling Good written by songwriters Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse popularized by Nina Simone.
If Isabela’s last name sounds familiar that’s because she’s the daughter of actor Roi Vinzon, the long-time adversary of Fernando Poe Jr in his movies!
Her performance was so good that she became the first contestant under team Kamp Kawayan led by Coach Bamboo!

Both Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Bamboo turned their chairs for Isabela. However, she chose the latter as her mentor. Isabela said that she believes Bamboo can help her with her chosen genre.
When asked what her father means to her - this is what the young singer had to say:
“Siya po yung inspiration ko. Gusto ko din po maging kagaya niya, kasi gusto ko din po makita sa TV, pero bilang singer.”
This isn’t Isabela’s first shot at musical fame. Back in 2015, she recorded a song under Viva Records titled Yada Yada.
We expect great things from you, Isabela!
Is Isabela your pick to win this season? Or are you waiting for other potential teens to win the big one on the Voice Teens?
